-
(Calibra Retreat) I have limited experience with some (or all) of the activities on the schedule — is Calibra right for me?We created Calibra for people on a wellness journey. Whether this will be your first step or you have a long-standing routine, you will have the opportunity to discover, level up, and fine-tune.
-
(Calibra Retreat)Will I need to pay for anything once I’m there? No. The Calibra retreat is all-inclusive. From the moment you land at the lush Puerto Escondido airport to your leaving Casa Calibra, everything is covered: transport, food & beverages, classes, and gratuity.
-
What should I pack?Pack for a sporty beach weekend with a couple of suppers and evening social activities. And, of course, anything you may personally need for a getaway to south Mexico. We provide some basic essentials like shampoo, towels, toothpaste, sunscreen and bug spray.
-
Will you accommodate my allergies and/or dietary restrictions?Absolutely! We use our booking questionnaire to learn a bit about you, so that we can better attend to your individual needs.
-
I require a COVID-19 (PCR) test to fly home. Can I get one in Puerto Escondido?Yes. A lab in the city administers the test and provides rapid results.
-
What’s the exchange rate? Will I be able to get/exchange pesos? The exchange rate generally hovers around 19-20 Mexican Pesos for one U.S. dollar. There are many banks in the city, both domestic (Banorte, Banco Azteca) and international (HSBC, Santander).
-
Do I need a COVID-19 test to enter Mexico? At this time, Mexico does not require a COVID-19 test (or proof of vaccination) for entry.
-
Will there be Wi-Fi at Casa Calibra?Yes. At Casa Calibra you can enjoy the reliable and fast Starlink WiFi (thanks Elon!) That being said, we encourage all Calibra participants to take a mindful approach to their digital consumption. This is your time to unplug, reset, and replace screen time with your time.
-
Can I drink the tap water in Puerto Escondido? Please do not. We have filtered water available, as well as a variety of natural, refreshing drinks for you to enjoy.
